This was a well-constructed tour. We had been walking around the town for over day on our own and as soon as the tour began the history was revealed and buildings had a purpose in the history of the city. Jeff was an informative guide and kept the pace of the walk going. I highly recommend this tour. As there is a lot of walking over the cobbled streets comfortable walking shoes are necessary.
– Moreinput, TripAdvisorGreat guided tour of Nuremberg; We walked all around Old Town, had a fabulous lunch which was recommended by our guide and then went to the Nuremberg Rally site. Our guide was well informed and funny. I would love to take another tour with him.
– Alicia J., TripAdvisorJason made the walking tour enjoyable and extremely informative, he has good knowledge of the city and its place in history. The old town walk showed the Christmas markets and Jason gave a good insight to options for a meal a drink and other good advice. The castle precincts give a very good view over the main part of the city.
– HowardR609, TripAdvisorA must see if you are in the area. A very valuable history lesson. Many people just do not realize just how powerful Hitler was in WW II. Seeing the Rally’s ground was a site to remember especially the place where Hitler stood and spoke. Do not miss this.
– WPEVLE, TripAdvisorChris was a great tour guide he knows the city very well and his history. A history tour may not be for everyone however this was really accessible even for those who do not have a particular interest in German history. I would recommend for those visiting Nuremberg even if just for s short trip it gives a great background to the beautiful city.
